Sketch #22

Hello to everyone.

I hope you have all had a nice week and to all you poor harrased Mums, hang on in there - not long and they'll be back at school :)

Well what a fantastic response we had to our special challenge last week. Thank you to everyone who helped us to celebrate and we enjoyed looking at your work and seeing which were your favourite challenges.

We have 6 winners and their names will be posted on here as soon as I have them.

Edited - The 6 winners are - Kim's - Riet, Mandy - Francesca, Andrea - Bernie, Dawny P - Mary J, Steph & Nikki - to come soon.

Well done girlies - if you contact the individual team member directly, they will arrange to get your prize off to you :)

We have another sketch for you this week and we also have something a bit special as well. Or rather someone very special joining us. We thought it would be nice to invite some of our favourite peeps to join us as a one -off each week. These are ladies you will probably all know (and maybe some that you won't). But they will all have one thing in common - their work is just inspirational.

You will know exactly what I mean when I tell you that our very first special guest is non other than the very wonderful Kim Piggott. I think I can speak for all the team when I say that her work is awesome. Kim, thank you so much for joining us - you have a very special talent for sure and your card is just beautiful xxx.

And as it is the last week of the month, we are again sponsored by the fabulous ...

There is a $25 voucher up for grabs and some lucky girlie is going to win it :)

And all you have to do is have a bash at this little fella ......

Don't forget that you can re-size, flip and rotate to your hearts content and as long as you can still see the sketch it will be fine and dandy.

And here is what we all did with it .....

100th Challenge - Take Your Pick :)x

Well firstly, I have to apologise to anyone whose blog I didn't get round to last week. My computer has been misbehaving again and there were quite a few places where it would not let me leave a comment. BUT I have to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and also to our lovely
sponsor Merrigan xxx

So who has won then?

Here are your random numbers:7
Timestamp: 2009-08-18 13:43:29 UTC

Well, Sandi Shores, it's yoooooooouuuu!! If you e-mail me chick, I'll send your details to Merrigan so you can get your prize.

It's a very special week here at Papertake Weekly as it is our

100th challenge

Back on 1st October 2007, Steph, Andrea, Mandy and Caroline did their very first challenge. You can see it here .

Nikki and Kim came on board very soon after that - within a week or so - and apart from the lovely Caroline who left to start her own fabulous business, Raspberry Ribbons, all the girls are still here. I think that's fantastic and big ups to each and every one of them. They really are the most fantastic group of girls xxx

I was talking to Steph about this and how it all started and it was because a few friends decided that they would take it in turns each week to send out the same materials to each other and see what they could make from them. And that's how it all began. You can read all about it in Steph's own words here.

It is all credit to Steph and the girls that we are sill here nearly 2 years later!! So I would like to say thank you to all the design team, past and present, for making this challenge such a success xxxxx

Because it's a special week, we don't have a sponsor as such, but we do have prizes. All the regular team girls have put together a giveaway, to say thank you to YOU for your support over the years - so next week instead of 1 winner there will be 6!!! Just pop along to each blog, leave us a comment and we will each pick a winner. Easy peasy :)

And we have some other good news - Nikki is back with us after her break.
Welcome back chick xxx

AND there are 2 brand new guest design girls and they are Jill and Katrina. Welcome to you both and I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

So what have we got for you this week? Well this really is up to you because there's a choice of 99 different challenges (yes, 99!!!) That's because you get to pick your favourite PTW challenge and re-do it (but obviously not the same card lol xxx).

Now onto the cards. I've included a pic of all the prizes as well and thank you to the team for putting their prizes together.

Jill - Food For Thought (17/12/2007)

Katrina - 4 Seasons (04/08/2009)

- the very first challenge which was Swirly Doodles, and Steph has even used the same paper and image

Steph's notebook

Kim - Sketch #7 (26/01/2009)

Kims giveaway :)

Mandy - Seeing Spots (05/01/2009)

Mandy's giveaway :)

Nikki - Seeing Spots (05/01/2009)

Nikki's giveaway :)

Andrea - Scrap This (25/05/2009)

Andrea's giveaway :)

Dawny P - Delightful Downloads (23/06/2009) and sketch #4 (08/12/2008)

Dawny's giveaway :)

So those are our cards.

We hope they've inspired you to delve back into Papertake's archives and find your favourite. We can't wait to see which one you pick :)

And don't forget to come and visit us all and see what we've all been up to.

Have a great and crafty week xxxx

Hi everyone.
I hope that you are all ok and enjoying the little bit of sunshine we've had!!!

I just have to say before we start that once again I've had problems leaving comments on a few blogs, but I will keep trying, so if I haven't visted, I will be along asap.

So firstly, I have to say a big thank you to our wonderful featured sponsor, Simon Says Stamp. One lucky girlie has won $25 to spend in the on line shop, and that winner is ......

We have another fabulous sponsor as well, and the lucky winner this week will win this gorgeous Skipping Millie stamp which has kindly been donated by the lovely Janet from
